My favorite festival season of the year

In a year there are several festival seasons tied to different religions. I am a Buddhist but my favorite festival season is December. When year end get close everything changes. Climate getting cold, people decorating streets, shops, Everywhere filled with Christmas songs. This is the best festival in the year, When it becomes to Christmas;

The first Christmas was celebrated in Rome in 336 A.D., and the history of Christmas goes back a long way. During the famous Arian conflict in the 300s, it played a crucial role. Epiphany overtook it in the early years of middle age.

Christmas was reintroduced to the public eye approximately 800 A.D., when Emperor Charlemagne was crowned on Christmas Day. Christmas was outlawed by the Puritans in the 17th century because it related to drunkenness and other forms of disobedience.

Around 1660, it was designated as a proper holiday, but it was still disapproved upon. The Oxford movement of the Anglican Communion church began in the early 1900s, which contributed to the rebirth of Christmas.



Christmas is a cultural celebration that necessitates extensive planning. Because it is a public holiday, people are given time off to celebrate.

Most individuals begin their Christmas preparations early so that the festivities may begin on Christmas Eve. There are numerous activities that go into Christmas preparations. Decorations, food, and gifts are typically purchased for youngsters in the family and friends. Some families go shopping for everyone's Christmas attire at the same time.

Lighting and decorating the area with Christmas trees are standard preparations. The house must be thoroughly cleaned before any decorations can begin. Christmas cheer is brought into homes by the Christmas tree.

Presents are wrapped and placed under the Christmas tree in gift boxes, to be opened on Christmas Day. The church is also decked out for the occasion. To usher in Christmas, the churches are thoroughly cleaned. On Christmas Day, songs and skits will be performed.

People normally spend a lot of money on Christmas, therefore saving money for these plans should be the first thing on your to-do list. Families are also planning to travel to be together throughout the holiday season. In this day and age, turkey is a popular dinner all around the world. Friends and family are often sent cards to wish them a nice holiday and to express affection.


Christmas carols are broadcast on radio and television to commemorate the occasion. Most families begin by attending church, where they can see plays and sing. After that, they reunite with their families to give gifts and celebrate with food and music. The joy of Christmas is unlike any other.

Christmas delicacies include homemade classic plum cakes, cupcakes, and muffins. The kids are flooded with gifts and new outfits. They also get to meet 'Santa Claus,' who greets them with hugs and gifts while clad in a fluffy red and white outfit.



The significance of giving and sharing with friends and family is emphasized over the Christmas season. We know that the birth of Jesus is the beginning of wonderful things in the world because of Christmas. It is, in general, a time to reflect on nature and the cause for our existence. Despite being a Christian event, Christmas is a festival that people of many religions and faiths around the world celebrate. It is the core of this celebration that brings so many people together.
